Don't want sex?

Believe it or not, but not everyone is having sex all the time, and you should only do so if you’re completely comfortable with what you’re doing and who you’re doing it with.

In the meantime, abstinence has plenty of advantages. Not having oral, anal or vaginal intercourse is the best way of avoiding STIs (including HIV) and unwanted pregnancies. Remember there are plenty ways to be abstinent, and plenty of other ways to experience closeness with your partner.

If you are planning on any sort of sex, make sure you and your partner talk openly together first, and fully understand how you both feel. Communication is vital in any relationship, so make sure you are each aware of the other’s worries, previous experiences and expectations.
