There's An Idea!

There's a wide variety of HIV awareness programming out there - from movies to PSAs right throught to celebrity interviews and documentaries. There are lots of ways to get a message out there - but what really works?!
Well, that's what we want to know... Out of all of the programming we produce - what makes you take the most notice?
You can check out all of our programming right here on our Media Page
What do you think we should do more of? And what should we do less of?
And finally - if you could make a programme or a PSA with that communicates an awareness message, what would it be?
Let us know your thoughts by leaving a message below. You never know, you might see your idea on MTV!

Hi i unfortunately dont get to watch your programmes as i dont have access on my tv(cant afford dstv) but they sound very interesting and good that there are youth and people in this mtv-hiphop-culture who are into this very serious issue we are ALL faced with. i believe real life people on the forfront and celebrities also adding on their two sense because lets face it if they caught the disease we wouldnt know and they would buy drugs that the ordinary person cant afford or their country isnt organised enough to get them available to teh needfull. while you have a target audience it is very important your ambassadors are out on the "streets" so to speak educating people about the risks, causes, and help they can get and where. If people want to work in africa they musnt go to the "usual" places it's discriminating the rest of the continent.

I think that you should show real cases of AIDS to let people know what are the big issues about that. What kind of problems does it bring, how does the people look like, how their lives change, etc.
Because in today's world, people put physical aspect at first place and I think that showing to them what physical problems do they get with AIDS will make people pay more attention to that kind of problem.

i think using celebrities makes people take note but think using them alongside real life people is the best approach
