Sad news as Nomatemba Solli of THINK Mental Fashion passes away.

With the weapons of peer-to-peer communication and dialogue, the THINK Mental Fashion Foundation has a vision to create a no-AIDS pandemic, a concept that was rewarded a Staying Alive Award in 2007 for a project in north-west Russia.

The initiative of this movement came from Nomatemba Solli- pictured above, an amazing young Zambian/South African/Norwegian woman.

Unfortunately last November Nomatemba recieved a severe cancer diagnosis. On Tuesday 19th February she passed away, leaving friends and collaborators shattered by the loss. Nomatemba was a remarkable young lady. With her energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and determination she aimed to change the world. She discovered that in breaking the code of eradicating HIV/AIDS, one needs to talk with the kids – not to them. Just before she died, her co-founder, Mr Borre Sordahl, promised to continue the global fight against HIV/AIDS through their foundation.

Staying Alive sends it's condolences to Nomatemba's family, friends and colleagues.
